ATI’s business model is to optimise the deployment of dark fibre through supportive regulatory environments in UK and Europe.

BESPOKE DARK FIBRE.

ATI Fibrenet : ATI / PIA approach

ATI expertise

We build and sell our own fibre networks between key locations with a ATI / PIA approach.

ATI (Access To Infrastructure) refers to our ability to use existing infrastructure across Europe using regulated and commercially negotiated access agreements with Infrastructure owners.

PIA (Physical Infrastructure Access) refers to the process of allowing multiple telecommunications providers to share the same physical infrastructure, such as ducts, poles, and conduits.

In the UK this allows ATI Fibrenet to share the same physical infrastructure that Openreach manages. ATI Fibrenet can use the existing fibre-optic infrastructure this can lead to lower prices and faster service by increasing the availability of fast and reliable dark fibre access to customers. We layer our own network and that of our customers over a national network and can offer bespoke fibre and dark fibre networks.

Enhancing our customers propositions. and the major benefits of ATI / PIA approach:

  • c.70% cost saving versus traditional build.
  • Substantial savings in time to deploy
  • Environmental benefits
  • Less disruption
  • Scale of incumbent duct network assets

ATI’s data-driven design platform has substantial commercial potential for its customers

The platform aggregates GIS data on ATI/PIA infrastructure and other relevant assets

Benefits of external ATI expertise

  • Our customers business model is to build their own dedicated network while recognising the merits of ATI in relevant situations
  • Not building ATI in volume so struggle with niche expertise
  • Execution requires much more hands on management and specific integration with ATI/Openreach processes and quality management
  • ATI Fibrenet bring specific expertise to execute at scale more efficiently

Why ATI Fibrenet?

Purpose-Built for High Demand

With the explosion of data-intensive applications, cloud services, and edge computing, the need for resilient, high-capacity connectivity is at an all-time high. ATI Fibrenet is built to address these challenges, providing reliable connections to data centers, subsea cable stations, core network hubs, and edge nodes.

A New Approach to Network Deployment

Our approach reduces reliance on extensive civil construction by repurposing existing duct infrastructure, resulting in lower costs, faster deployment times, and a more environmentally friendly solution.
